VIP Translation Process: To ensure quality, our translations undergo

All projects are assigned to one or several
teams comprising translators, editors and proofreaders,
to verify that our product is a linguistic
match and reflects the language, concepts,
meaning and register of the source document.

Project Analysis:
An experienced Account Manager
will conduct the initial research and
define the scope
of the project with the client. Language
requirements, deadlines, formatting needs
and terminology are discussed in order
to get a thorough understanding of the
client’s needs and expectations. |

Translation: A
translator is selected based on language
pair capabilities,
expertise in the subject matter and prior
experience with the client. The translator
creates a glossary, determines the tone
and style requirements for the project,
and creates the initial translation of
the document. |

Editing and Quality
Control: The editor reviews
the first draft thoroughly, paying special
attention
to misinterpretations, missing content,
typographical errors and desired flow
in the target language, as well as consistency
in terminology. The editor and the translator
meet to discuss any changes required
to maximize the quality of the translated
copy. |

|
| 4 |
Proofreading: The
revised copy, with any applicable corrections
incorporated by the translator, is assigned
to a proofreader who checks that all
changes have been implemented and that
the text reads accurately and smoothly
from the standpoint of the end user.
Should any problems arise, a senior editor
is brought in by the team to discuss any
language-related issues. If necessary,
the client may be consulted for clarification
in the source language, and the project
is then finalized. |
